Rebuilding Hope After the Tsunami
As CRS marks the fourth anniversary of the Indian Ocean tsunami, we are reminded with gratitude of the overwhelming generosity of American Catholics toward relief and recovery efforts. Dozens of infrastructure projects have been completed in the three countries hardest hit by the tsunami—Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka. Roads, bridges, schools, markets, clinics and community centers have been built anew or restored.
