Within the Caucasus sub-region, Catholic Relief Services works in the three independent post-Soviet republics of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The Caucasus sub-regional office is located in Tbilisi, Georgia and was officially registered in 2003. CRS Georgia works to strengthen local partners, advocate for social change, and promote peace and reconciliation in the region.

Recognizing that ongoing injustice and conflict in the region are largely dependent on the quality of governance and the ability of citizens to meet their own basic needs, CRS supports programs in peacebuilding, advocacy, and civil society development. CRS works exclusively with partners in Georgia to implement development programming designed to strengthen local organizations through partnership in order to promote transformative social change through civic participation and advocacy.
