CRS Work in El Salvador
CRS/El Salvador coordinates with dioceses, parishes, other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government agencies to implement project activities in the following areas:
- Agriculture
- Health
- civil society
- Microfinance
- emergency programming
CRS also supports the peace and reconciliation advocacy work of the local church.
Children comprise a large portion of CRS/El Salvador project participants.

Corinto Produce and Marketing Project
CRS promotes the cultivation of vegetables for marketing and profit and complements these activities with environmental protection initiatives.
Trauma Therapy Project
This project encourages families in earthquake-devastated areas to more actively participate in their communities rather than remain victims.
