CRS History in Colombia
CRS has worked in Colombia since 1954 and currently manages the Colombia program from the CRS/Ecuador-Colombia office in Quito, Ecuador. CRS relaunched its program In Solidarity with Colombia in response to requests by Colombian Catholic Church organizations to address the injustices occurring as a result of the illegal drug trade and more than 30 years of civil war.
The SNPS-CRSJoint Program Office is staffed by two members from SNPS and two from CRS, with the support of staff based in the CRS Quito office, and the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office in the Baltimore Headquarters.
