CRS Partners in Bolivia

CRS Bolivia relies on many local partners to implement its projects. By working closely with these partners, CRS provides the most effective support in both urban and rural settings.

CEPAS Caritas

CRS Bolivia's principal partner is CEPAS Caritas. CRS works with CEPAS Caritas at the national and local, diocesan level. As the social branch of Bolivia's Episcopal Conference, CEPAS implements development projects throughout the country. Currently, Caritas Tarija is working on a housing project, as well as programs focusing on rural livelihoods, emergency relief, and HIV.

Probioma

Founded in 1990, Probioma is a private institution that concentrates on biodiversity and biotechnology for agricultural purposes. Headquartered in Santa Cruz, the institute lobbies for environmentally friendly policies that include the protection of natural reserves, safeguarding biodiversity, environmental stewardship of natural resources, and sustainable hydrocarbon policy.

Fundacion Jubileo

An institution formed by the Catholic Church in Bolivia and Germany, Fundacion Jubileo champions the cause of civil society in Bolivia, working towards the ethical, social and political development of Bolivia's society. The organization aims to strengthen democratic processes at the grass-roots and government level.
